Product Introduction:

The ACE 293 SFM Kit (Product Number: ACE04101-K) is a 293 recombinant protein expression kit independently developed by Zhuhai Kairei (including 293 culture medium, transfection reagent, protein expression enhancer, and nutritional supplement), suitable for the rapid production of recombinant proteins.

Product performance:

1. Control experiments comparing the protein expression levels of HEK293 cells in different culture media.

Use the ACE-Trans transfection reagent and the competitor's Transfection 2.0x106 cells/ml density to transfect HEK293 cells. After culturing the transfected cells for 6 days, purify and quantify the recombinant protein in the culture medium. The charts show the results compared with the competitor's control.

2. Comparative study of the effect of ACE 293 SFM on the growth of static cultured cells compared with similar competitor media:

The cell density and viability curves of HEK293 cells grown in ACE 293 SFM and competing media. The cell inoculation density was 0.5×106 cells/ml. Samples were taken every day after inoculation to detect cell density (a) and viability (b). The data show that the ACE 293 SFM medium can support cells to maintain high-density growth at 95% viability for a long time. The doubling time of the cell logarithmic growth phase is approximately 24 hours.

3. Transfection fluorescence images:

Under the condition of reaching a density of 1x106 cells/ml in suspension culture, the GFP expression plasmid was transfected into HEK293 cells using the ACE Trans transfection reagent. The transfected cells were further cultured for 48 hours. Fluorescence (a) and bright-field (b) micrographs showed an average transfection rate of ≥ 70%.

4. Cell transfection toxicity test:

HEK293 cells were cultured in ACE 293 SFM medium to a density of 3 x 106 cells/ml. 0.5% ACE Trans and its competitor transfection reagents were directly added, and samples were taken every day to detect the cell density, in order to determine the toxicity effects of different transfection reagents on the cells.

Product advantages: 

This product can be used for various types of 293 cell transient transfection protein expression experiments. The culture medium can be directly used without preheating and re-warming; cell transfection does not require changing the culture medium, which significantly reduces the experimental time and lowers the risk of cell contamination; while ensuring the cell growth density, it maintains the cell viability for a long time, and can sustain cell growth for approximately 9 days without adding supplements.
